This year's festival brings headliners Electric Six and Baha Men, along with a terrific roster of local and regional acts like Crooked Coast and 40 Thieves and Friends. A Cape Cod Tradition: Eastham Windmill Weekend

The following weekend, September 11th through 13th, the neighboring town of Eastham celebrates its beloved Windmill Weekend around the historic windmill on Windmill Green. It's a classic small-town Cape Cod celebration, with a parade and road race on Sunday, a craft and vendor fair both days, a vehicle show, live entertainment, and plenty of family fun. It's a short, scenic drive south and well worth the trip.

The Main Event: Wellfleet OysterFest

Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18. The legendary Wellfleet OysterFest takes over downtown Main Street for two days celebrating the town's world-famous oysters and its deep shell fishing roots. Open from 10am to 5pm each day, and there truly is something for everyone: local cuisine, a fine art and craft fair, live music, educational talks, eco-tours, children's activities, a road race, and the not-to-be-missed Oyster Shuck-Off competition.

Columbus Day weekend, October 10th through 12th, is one of the most popular times to enjoy all of this.
